Rent and Payment
You can find your invoices through My Pages and in the resident app, which can easily be downloaded in PDF format. The full rent is paid in advance and must reach us by the due date shown on the invoice, usually the last working day before the end of each month. Therefore, remember to make your rent payment at least two working days before the end of each month to ensure it’s paid on time. If you haven’t received your invoice or if it’s missing information and the end of the month is approaching, send an email to info@sbsstudent.se and we’ll help you.
Through My Pages, you can easily see when your rent payment has been registered.
The system is directly connected to our bank, which means your invoice status updates automatically as soon as the payment is received and processed. However, if you pay the invoice outside the resident app, you need to mark the payment as handled yourself. This is because the resident app is not connected to your bank or ours. As a tenant, you are responsible for contacting us if you’re missing your invoice.
We don’t send payment reminders. If payment isn’t made on time, the invoice will be forwarded to a collection agency. Remember to always pay your rent on time – we can see your payment history and it can affect your housing reference. Repeated late payments may lead to the termination of your rental contract.
International Bank Transfer
If you don’t have a Swedish bank account, unfortunately you cannot pay your rent through the resident app. Instead, you’ll need to make a manual transfer from your bank. All information required for an international payment can be found on your rent invoice.
If your bank asks for an account number, use the last 15 digits of the IBAN number. These consist of the clearing number (the first 5 digits) followed by the account number.
Direct Debit
The easiest way to pay your rent is through direct debit. You can apply for direct debit through your bank. The company you should set up direct debit for is listed on your rent invoice after the sender. You may need to enter your personal identity number and sign with BankID. When everything is set up, your invoices in My Pages will be marked with DIRECT DEBIT at the bottom. We will attempt to withdraw the amount 3 times, so make sure you have sufficient funds in your account to cover your rent.
