What do we mean by Student Life 2.0?
Student Life 2.0 is about everything that makes life outside the lecture hall easier, more fun, and more social. At SBS, you get more than just accommodation – you get a secure base with space for both studies and community, with your own kitchen and bathroom, common areas, and in some locations, even access to things like a cinema and gym. We create the conditions for a student life that feels vibrant, social, and easy to be a part of, whether you’re new to the city or in the middle of your studies.

What’s great about living here is the people, and I think my apartment is very clean and modern. Extremely clean and modern, actually, and the gym too. That’s what I love, it’s “really great”.

The best thing about living here is the community, both the neighbors and the fact that many of my friends live nearby. I also appreciate that it’s only a short, 10-minute walk to Campus.

The best thing about living here is that I feel safe and comfortable in the area. Something I really appreciate is that there’s an attached gym in the building, which helps during stressful periods with a lot of studying, as you don’t have to spend time getting to and from your workout. Plus, it’s easy to get into town, which makes the location very practical.

At SBS, student ambassadors are an important part of our work to create safe, welcoming, and vibrant living environments. The role involves being a link between SBS and our residents, inspiring events, engagement, and contributing to activities that strengthen the community on campus.
Ambassadors strengthen the student experience by creating and highlighting events that make it easier for students to meet. This can involve everything from welcome activities and fika on campus to theme nights, competitions, or larger activities. For example, we have arranged Vinterkicken in Luleå with downhill skiing and ski and snowboard school, and Stadskampen where students from Jönköping and Gothenburg met in challenges such as canoe racing, tug-of-war, and plank walking.
Our campus events can vary based on location, season, and the students’ own wishes. This can include social gatherings, welcome activities, competitions, theme nights, coffee breaks, or other initiatives that make it easier for students to meet and feel at home. Common to all activities is that they should be inclusive, easily accessible, and contribute to a positive student everyday life.

Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like! We offer modern, secure student housing in 18 Nordic cities – with everything you need to live, study, and live your way. Private kitchen and bathroom, digital management via the app, and community through lounges, gym, and events. In short: All the conditions for a great study time, where housing isn’t something that bothers you!
You register completely free and collect points every day you are in the queue. When a housing becomes available, you can apply – the more points you have, the greater the chance of getting your dream accommodation.
No! Being in our housing queue is always completely free.
Yes and no. You need to be admitted to a program at a university, college, or vocational school to move into one of our student apartments. In some locations, we also offer other types of housing, such as youth apartments.
The earlier, the better – you can register from the age of 13. It costs nothing, but increases your chances.

What is included in the rent for our different student accommodations varies. What is included in each apartment is stated in each individual ad under “Available housing”.
In the app, you can manage everything from rent payments to booking common areas and maintenance requests – conveniently, digitally, and securely.
You will receive all practical information well in advance of moving in digitally via our app – simple and stress-free.
