The common areas
In all our properties, as a student, you share many areas with your neighbors. It’s especially important in these places that everyone respects and follows our guidelines to make living as pleasant as possible and to avoid poor indoor environments and fire hazards.
It sure gets nicer if we
- Inform neighbors if we plan to have a party, for example with a friendly note in the corridor/stairwell.
- Get a good night’s sleep – be extra quiet between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. If you experience any disturbances, contact our disturbance hotline at 010-470 53 65. If you suspect a crime, always contact 112.
- Avoid unwanted smoke smell and enjoy better health. Therefore, smoking is prohibited in all apartments, in and around the property, and do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.
- Speaking of desired smells – do not store garbage in the stairwell or common areas.
- “In case of emergency” if an accident occurs, it’s important for emergency personnel to have access. Therefore, do not store anything in walkways, stairwells, or common areas. Also, do not use fire doors/emergency exits.
- Grilled food is delicious, but it’s not allowed to light fires, candles, torches, grill, or similar on walkways or closer than 4 meters from the buildings. Always use a designated grill area.
- Together we help each other by locking up after ourselves in common areas such as storage rooms, laundry rooms, bike storage, and similar to avoid unwanted visitors.
