Studentbostäder i Norden AB presents year-end report for 2024

Studentbostäder i Norden AB (publ) (“SBS”) publishes today its year-end report for 2024. The Group’s revenue has increased by 17 percent to SEK 456 million and operating surplus increased 15 percent to SEK 288 million during the year. Net asset value per share amounts to SEK 3.86.

– We have proven in recent years that SBS can grow despite market challenges. Over the past four years, revenue has grown by 203 percent. In the fourth quarter of 2024, we have on average had over 3 percentage points better occupancy rate and 19 percent higher operating surplus compared to the previous year. We have reported positive value changes for three consecutive quarters, says Rebecka Eidenert, CEO of Studentbostäder i Norden AB.

• Operating surplus increased 15 percent to SEK 288 million (250)
• Surplus margin amounted to 63 percent (64)
• Management result amounted to SEK 19 million (44)
• Earnings per share amounted to SEK 0.03 (-1.27)
• Long-term net asset value per share amounted to SEK 3.86 (3.70)
• The Board proposes to the annual general meeting that no dividend be paid to shareholders.

Period October – December 2024

• Revenue increased by 15 percent to SEK 127 million (110)
• Operating surplus increased by 19 percent to SEK 81 million (68)
• Surplus margin increased to 64 percent (62)
• Management result increased to SEK 12 million (5)
• Value change amounted to SEK 84 million (-167)
• Earnings per share amounted to SEK 0.12 (-0.32)

Selected significant events October – December 2024

• SBS hires Victoria Lenander for the newly established role as marketing and sales manager. Victoria Lenander becomes a member of the group management.
• SBS refinances bank loans of SEK 758 million at reduced credit margin and lower ongoing amortization.
