Studentbostäder i Norden AB (publ) (“SBS”) publishes today its interim report for January–June 2024. During the period, revenues increased by 16 percent compared to the corresponding period in 2023, and the operating surplus amounts to 139 MSEK.
– It has been an eventful and positive spring. During the second quarter, our rental income increased by 24 percent, and the operating surplus increased by 19 percent. A new record for the number of admitted students means a significant increase in demand for our student housing. Our self-developed housing queue continues to grow, which means we now have 47,000 people in the queue, and we are well on our way to achieving our mission of creating a new home for students in the Nordic region, says Rebecka Eidenert, CEO of Studentbostäder i Norden AB.
